Welcome to St. Aloysius…home of the Mustangs!
We are a JK – Grade 8 school of 229 students and 24 staff located in beautiful Stratford, Ontario.
St. Aloysius is a vibrant, diverse, faith filled, and inclusive school community, where the God given gifts and talents of all are recognized and celebrated. We are all part of one family in faith and at St. Aloysius, we value each person in our school and community as a member of that family.
St. Aloysius is proud to have strong partnerships with the Avon Thames Family of Parishes, Father David Butler, Father Donald Pumpatis, Seminarian James Prins, Mary Chisholm, and Amanda Vander Ploeg. We embrace, nuture, and grow in our faith in partnership with our school, our families, and our church.
Our partnership with parents/guardians is essential in supporting the education of each student in our school. Our Catholic School Advisory Council (CSAC), chaired by Tennile Mogk and Janelle Muir-Phillips, is active and involved in supporting our faith centered learning environment. Parents/guardians are always welcome to join our CSAC.
At St. Aloysius, we embrace inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation. We focus on building, developing, and strengthening literacy and numeracy, as well as the arts, science, social science and French to support a well rounded and diverse education. We support and emphasize a holistic approach to learning, development, and growth that includes mind, body, faith, and spirit.
Our school community is a strong, supportive, compassionate one and lead by our outstanding educators throughout our school. The staff of St. Aloysius have a deep commitment to nurturing and embracing each child and journeying with them as they learn and grow in their time with us. Please don’t hesitate to connect with us at any time.
I am honoured to be the principal at St. Aloysius and welcome you to our school community. You can connect with me at 519-271-3636, x1510 or by email at aleroux@hpcdsb.ca.
